Two drivers injured in Bournemouth collision
The two car collision in which a third car was involved took place on the evening of Wednesday 27 December and witnesses are sought.
A woman was arrested following a collision in Bournemouth in which two drivers were injured.
Dorset Police received a report at 8.02pm on Wednesday 27 December of a collision involving a silver Vauxhall Astra and a green Vauxhall Insignia on West Overcliff Drive, near the junction with West Cliff Road. It was also reported that a grey Audi A6 was seen in the area around the time of the collision.
The driver of the Vauxhall Insignia, a Bournemouth man in his 30s, was taken to Southampton General Hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
The driver of the Astra, in his 20s and from Ferndown, also sustained injuries that required hospital treatment.
Following enquiries by officers from the Roads Policing Team, a woman aged in her 20s from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of driving offences. She has been released under investigation as further investigative work is carried out.
Officers are continuing to appeal for any witnesses who have not already spoken to police, or any motorists with relevant dashcam footage, to come forward.
