Two festivals in one at Sculpture by the Lakes
Over 2,600 people visited the Dorset Garden Festival incorporating a Fire and Food Festival at Sculpture by the Lakes near Dorchester.
Set in the stunning 26-acre garden at Sculpture by the Lakes the celebration of outdoor living attracted over 2,600 visitors over five days from 25-29 May.
It included fascinating sculptures, plants, garden furniture and artisan crafts. The impressive outdoor kitchen provided a stunning backdrop for fire cooking demonstrations and a nearby seating area next to the river added to the eating experience.
The relaxing day out in peaceful surroundings was further enhanced with many sculptures to admire in the final days of the FORM 2022 exhibition.
Simon Gudgeon, internationally acclaimed sculptor and founder of Sculpture by the Lakes, said: “We know nature and garden lovers enjoy a visit to Sculpture by the Lakes every bit as much as art lovers, so this was an event created with them in mind.”
