‘Uniforms for All’ is a new exhibition at the Priest’s House Museum & Garden in Wimborne Minster, and runs until the 11 November.
The exhibition is based on the theme of uniforms.
It includes items from the second world war, not forgetting Dad’s Army, school uniform and the splendid black velvet regalia of a high sheriff complete with small sword.
Part of the exhibition is dedicated to the Boy Scout movement formed in 1908. Also to the Brownies who celebrate their 100th anniversary this year.
‘Uniforms for All’ is sponsored by two local businesses in Wimborne.
The museum is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 4.30pm. There is an admission charge.
