The public vote for the Dorset Venus Awards 2015 opened today (13 of July).
Dubbed by Channel 4 as the “Working Women’s Oscars”, the Dorset Venus Awards are calling members of the public to vote for their favourite working women in the Business Mother of the Year, Employee of the Year and Customer Service categories.
This year, 126 working women from across Dorset applied to the three categories. The judge narrowed down the applications to just ten in each category. It is now up to the public to vote for their favourites from the shortlists.
Founder of the Dorset Venus Awards, Tara Howard, has said: “We have received a record-breaking amount of applications this year and the standard of entries is higher than ever. This year the judges have had to make some really hard decisions.”
