The 30th anniversary production from Verwood Pantomime Society, Aladdin by Bradford and Webster, opened on Saturday at the Verwood Hub. Both shows were almost sold out.
Audiences enjoyed all the tradition of the panto with lots singing and dancing, booing and cheering. Every child in the theatre was given the opportunity to join the cast on stage and sing the community song, which many of them did.
A spokesperson for Verwood Pantomime Society said, “There have been lots of compliments about the cast, the wardrobe and sets department as it is a particularly colourful show.”
Don’t feel too disappointed if you missed the opening performances. The run continues this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with final shows on Saturday at 2pm and 6.30pm.
