Verwood Rotary Club take Santa to local school children
Santa comes to visit children in Verwood and Three Legged Cross First schools, helped by the Rotary Club and Forest FM.
Verwood Rotary Club were concerned that many children are missing out on a visit to Santa in his grotto this year, so they decided to do something about it.
So, with the reindeer in quarantine, members decided to take Santa to the children.
The club teamed up with local community radio station Forest FM and worked to convert their outside broadcast van into a mobile Santa’s grotto.
The small team visited first schools in Verwood and Three legged Cross and children trooped out class by class to post their letters in the Christmas post box and chat with Santa.
Some of the classes sang carols for him and just about all of them promised to be good this year!
