The ever popular Rustic Fayre, which is organised by Verwood Rotary Club, takes place this August Bank Holiday Monday at Potterne Park, Verwood.
It’s one of the main highlights of the year for Verwood with thousands of visitors of all ages flocking to see the events and displays. As usual there will be plenty of food and drink, with Rotary providing a BBQ and the ‘Rustic Arms’ beer tent.
This year something a little bit special has been arranged with flyby’s from a WWII Spitfire and a Hurricane too !
There will be the usual steam engine and classic car and tractor displays, terrier racing, the MAD Mountain Bike Aerial Display and to round off the afternoon, the hilarious and messy egg throwing competition
This year, entry is £4, with accompanied children and parking free. Gates open at 12 noon.
This is Verwood Rotary’s biggest fundraiser and all profits made will be distributed to deserving local causes later in the year.
