100s of tins donated for annual Hillside Harvest Festival.
Children of Hillside Community First School arrived with 100s of tinned and packaged foods for the annual Harvest Festival held in Verwood Methodist Church in October.
The donated items are going to the Trussell Trust foodbanks to provide produce to local families in financial need.
Headteacher Mr Jeremy Harrison and Rev’d Nigel Deller received the donations on behalf of the Trust.
Various year groups created songs, poems and raps on the harvest theme, performing them to fellow students and parents, whilst Year 4 students confidently delivered the readings.
