Virtual inquiry relating to planning decisions at Guppy’s Yard
A virtual public inquiry will be opened on 13 April to decide the appeals relating to several planning decisions regarding Guppy’s Yard.
Made by DM Guppy & Sons, the appeals are regarding Guppy’s Yard on East Moors Lane in St Leonards.
Inspector Mr Simon Hand has been appointed by the Secretary of State to hold the Inquiry opening at 10am on 13 April. It is likely to last for several days.

Anyone wishing to attend the virtual Inquiry (online via Microsoft Teams or by telephone) must make that interest known to the Planning Inspectorate case officer Opirim Agala before the Inquiry, either by email or telephone. You will also be required to confirm whether you want to take an active part in the proceedings or attend only as an observer.
Before deciding whether to take an active part in the Inquiry, you need to think carefully about the points you wish to make. All written submissions from application and appeal stage will be taken into account by the inspector. Re-stating the same points won’t add any additional weight to them.
If you feel that taking part in the Inquiry is right for you in whatever capacity, you can participate in a number of ways.
