As part of the wider #BinYourButt campaign there will be a launch in Ferndown on Tuesday 26 September between 10am and 4pm with campaigners under the clock tower until 1pm and between Tesco and the Barrington until 4pm.
The #BinYourButt campaign launch event in Ferndown will be held between 10am – 4pm on 26 September.
It aims to bring awareness of the issue of cigarette-related litter in Ferndown and will be situated under the clock tower between 10am-1pm and between Tesco and the Barrington between 1pm-4pm.
The event includes music, vouchers for refreshments, stubby packs, as well as some free portable ashtrays, and some giant cigarette butts. There will also be a cigarette butt only litter pick.
Charlotte Wild, Litter Free Coast and Sea & Litter Free Dorset project officer said, “We have already got a number of town businesses, organisations and town councillors on board with the campaign, and we are very excited to be launching this campaign up in Ferndown. We look forward to seeing you on the twenty-sixth.”
