The second round of contestants for the Voice of Ferndown performed at the Nightjar on 14 August.
Samantha Stevens, Linda Sambrook and Camilla Tabor sang like true stars. Each brought a different quality to the evening and luckily the few glitches with the sound equipment didn’t phase them.

The acts will be whittled down after a stage performance on 14 September and up to 16 finalists will appear at the live show in front of the judges at the Barrington Theatre in October.
There is still time to get your MP3 or MP4 sample to Ferndown Photographics, 26 Victoria Road, Ferndown BH22 9HZ. Judges will include talented comedian and entertainer Matt Black and Cllr Steve Lugg, deputy mayor of the town.
The winner’s prize includes a recording session at Hangover Hill Studios, the opportunity to perform on live radio and a professional promotional photo shoot.
