Volunteers are being sought for the Knoll Gardens Foundation, the Wimborne-based garden charity.
Knoll has championed the naturalistic style of gardening for many years believing it to be of benefit to gardeners and wildlife alike. The garden is owned and run by Neil Lucas, Chelsea gold medal winner and RHS council member and senior judge. It is internationally renowned for its ornamental grasses and wildlife-friendly approach to horticulture. The Knoll Gardens Foundation promotes the Knoll ethos to help gardeners across the UK create stunning gardens that also succeed in being friendly to wildlife.
The foundation already benefits from the support of a dedicated team of volunteers but additional people are now needed to fill some key roles. These include plant cataloguer, fundraisers, garden tour guides, project/event organisers and clerk to the trustees.
