Jean and Gerry Postill and John Reading being presented with cheque from Waitrose
Members of Ringwood and Fordingbridge Club for the Blind have celebrated with a special Christmas tea with entertainment thanks to a generous donation of £270 from the town’s Waitrose. The money is also helping towards the cost of the post Christmas lunch in January. These functions enable the blind and visually impaired members to enjoy being with friends during the festive season. For some it is the only opportunity they will get at this time. The Waitrose scheme is to try to alleviate loneliness for those who might be alone at Christmas. New club members are always welcome.
