Sue Coombs Coach, Club Secretary and Co-Founder said, “It’s hard work in every training session, even when it’s 30 Degrees. Players play for each other and really enjoy the sport.”
Nick Coombs said, “We play a friendly game about once a month. Sometimes we try and bring in two teams so we have a triple-header of matches. It’s about ironing out our errors, seeing what else we can bring to the table and enjoying ourselves. With two coaches, we get two ways that they see things, so it means we can really up our game.”
Craig Beasley Club Captain said that in order to win the Title Fight, the team would have to keep a cool head and work even harder than they have done before.
The Dorset Destroyers Wheelchair Rugby Club, will be at Stoke Mandeville Stadium on 2 September to fight for the Title of Division One Champions in Wheelchair Rugby 5’s.
There will be free entry on the day and 10 teams will be playing.
