Who showed lockdown love in your community?
Dorset-based Eco Sustainable Solutions wants to give back to community heroes, charities and good causes that have gone that extra mile during lockdown.
The Parley-based company has products that it is willing to donate to those heroes to say ‘thank you’ for showing extra lockdown love in their communities.
Eco runs one of the country’s leading purpose-built sites for organic recycling and would like to donate soils, mulches, play surfaces, aggregates and composts to those who have selflessly helped others when they have really needed it.
“We’ve heard of some wonderful community efforts during lockdown,” said Justin Dampney, chief operating officer at Eco, “such as people opening their gardens to those don’t have one.
“Some have started community projects, improved their gardens and made them accessible to the public. Others have also grown fruit and veg for their community.
“We would love to donate some of our products to help those who have spent their time helping others.”
Eco have already helped some great causes and are ready to help more.
Justin added, “We’ve been part of the community for the past 25 years and we’ve always tried to contribute.
“We’re urging people to nominate themselves – or others – so that we can organise delivery of our products.
“We’d also like to thank those who have gone that extra mile during lockdown.”
