South and South East in Bloom judges in Wimborne last year
Wimborne in Bloom is proud to announce that the Town of Wimborne Minster has been nominated by South and South East in Bloom to represent the Region for the Small Town Category in the 2015 National RHS Britain in Bloom Competition. This follows the success of 2012 when Wimborne achieved the great accolade of a national title with a Gold Award for the first time. The group’s target is to repeat this remarkable success in 2015. It will be the fifth time of entry into the National Competition in Wimborne in Bloom’s 22 years.
This will require considerable extra effort as Wimborne will again be taking part in the annual regional competition, judging taking place in July. Judging in the national competition will take place in August.
Wimborne in Bloom is a registered charity with a hard-working committee supported by volunteers and supporters in the town. Additional volunteers are always needed especially in the quest for a second national title. Even informal help by keeping Wimborne tidy and litter free is much appreciated
