Wimborne businesses urged to attend BID meeting
A draft five-year business plan is available for levy payers to view at a meeting at Allendale House on 22 May.

Wimborne BID is urging the town’s traders to have their say on the draft five-year renewal business plan at a meeting on Thursday 22 May.
Levy-paying businesses have been invited to attend Allendale House anytime from 9am until 5pm to view and comment on draft proposals before the final 2026–2031 renewal business plan is agreed by the BID Board of Directors.
Wimborne BID was established in 2011 and has been successfully renewed every five years since.
Businesses contribute an annual, mandatory fee which goes towards helping to provide and sustain a multitude of services and projects tailored for Wimborne.
Chairperson of Wimborne BID Fiona Harwood said: “Support from local businesses for Wimborne BID to continue is extremely encouraging. It’s vital that their feedback on what they want to see maintained, improved and introduced to the town over the next five years is considered so we can continue to deliver the initiatives, events and support that benefit them and our town.”
The BID Team will be on hand throughout the day at Allendale House to answer any questions.
The final business plan is completed in July and businesses will then vote on whether they would like the BID to continue to deliver the business plan in a ballot which takes place this October.
