Come and enjoy a drop-in family workshop making up simple poems and stories inspired by Roman objects provided by the Priest’s House Museum & Garden. There will also be the opportunity to get hands on with paper making using a papyrus technique of weaving and pressing plant materials.
This family creative workshop is being held in Wimborne Library on Saturday 2 July. Participants can arrange to attend either a morning session from 10.30am to 12.30pm or an afternoon session from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
Led by storyteller, Sara Hurley, and visual artist, Nicky Bailey, from Blazing Tales, the workshop is suitable for all ages (children aged 5+) and all abilities are welcome. Children must be accompanied.
