Despite Storm Katie blowing her worst through Wimborne Model Town, the vintage tourist attraction reported a brisk Easter weekend.
“Although we had chairs and miniature windows in the river on Bank Holiday Monday morning, we had hordes of visitors keen to take part in this year’s Easter Egg Hunt Quiz and many also took time to enjoy the refurbished tea room facilities,” says general manager Greg Hoar.
The Easter Bonnet competition held at the volunteer run charity was won this year by local children Una (4) and Charley Simpson (5).
