Wimborne Model Town opens next month
The attraction which includes over 100 shop fronts featuring Wimborne in the 1950s will re-open with a one-way socially distanced route.
Here’s something for your diary – Wimborne Model Town is to re-open to the public on 12 April.
With a prescribed one-way socially distanced route in place, visitors will be able to take part in a free quiz trail around the charity attraction which includes over 100 shop fronts featuring Wimborne in the 1950s.
Model Town chairman, Iain Stevenson said, “We’re delighted to be able to reopen for the second week of the Easter holidays and look forward to welcoming our visitors to a safe outdoor environment that our volunteers have worked hard to achieve.”
Indoor facilities including The Wareham Bears and the model railway are scheduled to open in May.
