Wimborne Square VE Day CREDIT: P Guppy
Wimborne Model Town is joining in the national celebrations of VE Day + 70 with family fun activities from 11am on Saturday 9 May including duck racing, quoits, lucky dip and more.
From 8 – 10 May, the decorated Model Town tea room will be serving vintage teas, light lunches drinks and snacks by its own team of Land Girls.
“The Model Town is looking forward to being part of the country’s celebrations with family activities marking 70 years of peacetime” said manager Greg Hoar.
