Wimborne Spring Green Festival this week
There are still many events to be held later this week, but you will need to book tickets with the Museum of East Dorset.
If you haven’t already become involved with Wimborne’s Spring Green Festival – which was launched last Saturday – it isn’t too late.
At 7.30 pm on Wednesday 21 April, Anna Frizzell, sustainability officer with the Poole-based RNLI, will share the RNLI’s good practice in an illustrated talk that will be inspiring and practical. It will offer tips to anyone interested in, or tasked with, greening their own workplace, whether that’s a business, charity, school, college or university.
For example, when your essential tools, such as life jackets, are no longer fit for purpose, how might you give them another lease of life?
To find out the answer, book at the Museum of East Dorset MED Box Office https://museumofeastdorset.co.uk/project/the-rnli-sustainable-story-with-anna-frizzel-zoom-talk/
Anna Frizzell’s talk The RNLI Sustainable Story is sponsored by the newly formed Planet Wimborne, an umbrella organisation aimed at bringing together ‘local environmental initiatives and, through a process of collaboration and networking, encourage more sustainable lifestyles across Wimborne and the local area’.
