Three of 11 new priests ordained by the Bishop of Salisbury, The Right Rev’d Nicholas Holtam in Salisbury Cathedral on 28 June, will serve in the Wimborne area.
Belinda Marflitt at Wimborne Minster, Ben Dyson at New Borough and Leigh St John, and Stephen Partridge at Canford Magna. All have served their curacies in their respective parishes since they were ordained deacons a year ago.
Belinda presided at her first Eucharist in the Minster on Sunday morning after which a presentation was made to her and the parish enjoyed a bring and share lunch on the Minster Green and in Church House.
Stephen led the worship on Sunday morning in a marquee at Canford School for the three churches in the Canford Magna Team Ministry and in the evening presided at his first Eucharist in Canford Magna Church. Ben will be leading the service at St John’s on the first Sunday in July.
