Year 4 children at Verwood CE First School have just returned from a fantastic week at The Springhead Trust, Fontmell Magna.
They enjoyed a week of brilliant sunshine, visiting the village and taking part in Woodland trails, stream trails and hill walks. During their time there they studied the wildlife both in the woodland and around the beautiful garden.
For some of the children it was their first time away from home, but they all thought it was wonderful to be able to invite their parents to tea and to share this wonderful experience with them.
After their parents had left, they made a bonfire and enjoyed lots of songs and fun and games.
