Officers are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward following a road traffic collision in Wimborne.
The incident happened at around 10.50am on Sunday 4 October 2015 on Wimborne Road West close to the junction with Ham Lane, when a motorcycle collided with a parked car and then a brick wall.
The rider was taken to Poole Hospital with serious injuries to his ribs, neck and shoulders. His condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
Police Constable Fern Graham, of Dorset Police’s Road Traffic Unit, said, “I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.
I would particularly like to speak to the driver of a black BMW X5, as I believe they may have been in area at the time of the incident and may have valuable information to assist with my enquiries. All calls will be treated in strict confidence.”
