Police in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a road traffic collision.
The incident happened at around 4.20pm on Wednesday 6 November 2013 on the petrol station forecourt at the Co-Op store on Castle Lane West.
An 87-year-old Bournemouth man was in collision with a lorry being driven by a 32-year-old man from Romsey, and suffered serious crush injuries to his legs.
He was taken to Poole General Hospital for treatment, but sadly died on Sunday 24 November 2013.
Sergeant Nikki Burt, of Dorset Police’s Traffic Unit, said: “I am appealing for anyone with information about this incident to contact Dorset Police urgently.
“I am keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision itself, or has information about the circumstances prior to it happening.
“All calls will be treated in confidence.”
