Witnesses sought for Boscombe robbery
Anyone who saw a man in his 40s being assaulted by a group of men near to the owl mural in Ashley Road should contact Police.
A man was not only assaulted in Boscombe, but his phone was also stolen.
The incident occurred at around 3.30pm on Friday 24 October near to the owl mural in Ashley Road.
It is reported that the victim – a man in his 40s – was assaulted by a group of four men described as being in their 30s and wearing grey tracksuits.
The victim sustained two black eyes and significant facial swelling.
Police Constable Francis Thorneycroft, of BCP Volume Crime Team, said: “This would have been very distressing for the victim and we are carrying out enquiries into what happened.
“I would ask anyone who was in the area and saw what happened, and has not already spoken to police, to please come forward.”
