Woman arrested following assault in Bournemouth
The incident took place in the area of Pine Tree Glen on the evening of Monday 12 May and witnesses are urged to come forward.
A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries following an assault in Bournemouth on Monday 12 May.
Dorset Police received a report at 9.58pm of a disturbance in the area of Pine Tree Glen.
It was reported that two men had turned up in a silver vehicle and assaulted a man outside an address.
Following enquiries, a 36-year-old Bournemouth woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm with intent. She has been released on police bail as further enquiries are carried out.
It is understood the involved parties were known to each other.
Police Constable Neil Causebrook, of Bournemouth Police, said: “This incident involves a report of a nasty assault and we are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances.
“I am keen to hear from any witnesses and would urge anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area on the evening of Monday 12 May to please come forward.
“I would also ask residents with home CCTV and motorists driving in the area at the time with dashcams fitted to please review their footage to see if they have captured anything of relevance to our investigation.”
