Woman assaulted in Canford Heath
Police are hoping that the man who intervened and any witnesses to this incident in Culliford Crescent will come forward.
Dorset Police are hoping that a man who intervened when he saw a woman being assaulted in Canford Heath, Poole will come forward.
At around 2.30pm on Thursday 11 August, a local woman in her 30s was near to the bus stop on Culliford Crescent, opposite the Asda petrol station in Canford Heath, when she was approached by a man she knew.
The suspect spoke to the victim before grabbing her so tightly on her arm that it caused a substantial bruise.
An unknown man who the victim had been talking to at the bus stop demanded that the suspect let go, which he did before walking off in the direction of Adastral Road.
Police Constable Tom Ringer, of Poole police, said: “I am appealing to this Good Samaritan who was at the bus stop and intervened in the incident to please contact Dorset Police as I believe you may have important information that could assist my enquiries.
“I would also ask anyone else who witnessed this incident, or captured anything of relevance on dashcam, to please contact me.”
