Woman assaults another woman in Bournemouth
Police would like to speak to any witnesses of this assault in Charminster Avenue, particularly two people who came to the aid of the victim.
Dorset Police has received a report that a woman in her 50s was assaulted by another woman, who pushed her over a number of times causing her to hit her head on the ground.
The incident occurred at around 2.15pm on Thursday 29 July in Charminster Avenue, on the pavement near to Star Stores.
The victim suffered a head injury as a result of the incident, but did not require hospital treatment.
Police Constable Chris Burt, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this assault and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to please come forward.
“I am particularly keen to speak to two female members of the public, believed to be mother and daughter, who stopped in a passing car to assist the victim and walked her back to her home address.”
