Woman seriously assaulted in Boscombe
Dorset Police believe a number of people would have witnessed this assault and they are hoping they will come forward.
A 34-year-old local woman sustained serious injuries during an incident that happened at around 8.45pm on Friday 19 August in Boscombe Crescent.
A 30-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released under investigation.
Detective Constable Kate Brew, of Bournemouth CID, said: “I believe there were a number of people present, as part of a wider group, during the incident that led to the victim sustaining a serious head injury, for which she was taken to hospital.
“We need to establish what exactly happened. Therefore, I am appealing for any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police to contact us as soon as possible.”
