Bournemouth police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a woman was sexually assaulted in the town centre last Saturday (18 May).
The incident happened between 1.30am and 2am by the bus stop on Gervis Road. The victim, an 18-year-old Christchurch woman was heading towards Westover Road when she was approached by three unknown men who grabbed her and indecently touched her.
She was not injured during the incident.
Detective Constable Siobhan Lovering, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said: “This was an unprovoked attack on a young woman that has left her incredibly scared to go out on her own.
“This type of behaviour is not acceptable and we are urging anyone who may have witnessed this incident take place, or has information about those involved to contact police immediately and in confidence.
“One of the offenders is described as an Arabic looking man aged in his twenties, of skinny build with fluffy dark hair and stubble. He was wearing an orange T-shirt.”
