Bournemouth University student Ferris Attia can now use Yellow Buses’ online app after winning himself a smart phone in the bus company’s selfie competition.
The business studies student took part in the freshers’ week competition organised by the Bournemouth-based company.
He used as many props as he could to create the eye-catching selfie that he then uploaded to Instagram using the @YellowBuses username.
As well as winning a Samsung Galaxy 5 mobile phone, he was also presented with a selfie stick.
Ferris, from Southampton, said: “It was something that was going on in freshers’ week and I decided to have a go and take a selfie.
“There were lots of props about and I basically grabbed as many as I could and took a photo.
“I then had to upload it to Instagram.”
Oliver Wheatley from the Yellows said: “We wanted to raise some more awareness about our Instagram account so we organised the competition.
“We are very busy at the university and many of the students there are using our app instead of tickets or Glo cards.”
