Diverse Abilities, Dorset’s disability charity, is looking for local people to take part in an exhilarating 450ft zip wire challenge across the Ageas Bowl – the home of Hampshire Cricket – in Southampton on 18 October and is urging willing participants to sign up now.
This adrenaline fuelled experience will take your breath away and provide a chance to catch a unique glimpse of the stadium as you’ve never seen it before.
Sharon Wells, events fundraiser at Diverse Abilities, said: “Challenge yourself and zip wire 450ft from the top of The Ageas Bowl’s iconic pavilion roof terrace and zip-line down to the famous outfield. It is a unique challenge and one that is not to be missed. The spaces are limited so we advise you to book early.”
The minimum age is 12 years, and those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The entry fee is £20 per person and each participant is asked to raise a minimum sponsorship of £90.
To take part in the zip wire challenge or find out further information, please contact Sharon Wells by calling 01202 718266 or via e-mail at Sharon.wells@diverseabilities.org.uk.
