Detectives investigating an alleged serious assault at a holiday park in Poole have charged a man from Poole in relation to the incident.
Officers were called to Rockley Park Holiday Park in Napier Road at 1.04am on Sunday 8 May, to reports of an assault.
A 64-year-old man from Poole was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment to a serious head injury. He is described as being in a life-threatening condition.
A 34-year-old man from Poole has been charged with committing grievous bodily harm with intent and is due to appear at Bournemouth Magistrates’ Court this morning, Tuesday 10 May 2016.
A 57-year-old woman from Poole was arrested on suspicion of committing grievous bodily harm with intent and has been released on police bail until the middle of July 2016 pending further enquiries.
