Arrests following serious alleged assault in Kinson
If you were in Cunningham Crescent on Sunday 10 April and witnessed any suspicious activity get in touch with police.
A man in his 50s from Bournemouth sustained a serious laceration to his wrist and was taken to hospital for treatment following an alleged assault in Cunningham Crescent in Bournemouth.
Police were alerted at 2.45pm on Sunday 10 April.
Following enquiries, it is suspected that the man was assaulted outside in the street a short time before officers arrived at the address.
A 43-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
A 41-year-old man from Bournemouth was also arrested on suspicion of wounding or inflicting grievous bodily harm and has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Detective Sergeant Leo Glendon, of Bournemouth CID, said: “An investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances of the incident and detectives have been checking for any available CCTV and carrying out house-to-house enquiries in the area.
“I am appealing to anyone who was in the vicinity of Cunningham Crescent between 1.30am and 3am on Sunday 10 April and witnessed any suspicious activity to please get in touch.”
