Kingston Lacy will be hosting an ‘Autumn Fair’ with Arkadia Events on Sunday 28 September. The National Trust estate will welcome a vast array of stalls covering everything from Dorset food and drink to a wide selection of artisan arts and crafts, all reflecting local talent and skills. Visitors will be able to enjoy traditional music in a cider tent and there will be displays of vintage agricultural equipment showing how times have changed.
There will be plenty of activities to keep the children entertained in the National Trust’s ’50 things’ activity area. Families will be able to tick off more of the ‘50 things to do before they’re 11¾’, including creating some wild art, cooking on a camp fire, playing conkers and much more.
Kingston Lacy will also be showcasing a wide range of products which are produced on the estate, including honey, fruit and vegetables from the kitchen garden and apples from its orchards.
Andrew McLaughlin, the property’s General Manager said: “Kingston Lacy is somewhere you can immerse yourself in the changing seasons, and the Autumn Fair is the perfect place to celebrate the new season and enjoy all it has to offer.”
Kingston Lacy’s ‘Autumn Fair’ takes place 28 September from 10.30am – 6pm. It is included in the normal admission price and is free for National Trust members. Find out more here: www.nationaltrust.org.uk/kingston-lacy.
