Bikes theft in Poole
If you have been offered a bike for sale in unusual circumstances, or if you saw any suspicious activity in the Bingham Avenue area, contact the police.
A total of five bikes were stolen from an address in the Bingham Avenue area of Poole sometime between midnight and 6.15am on Sunday 9 January.
The offenders forced entry to a secure building of the property and stole a pale green Specialized electric mountain bike, a pale grey Specialized electric ladies’ bike, a dark blue Specialized Sirrus X model carbon gravel bike, a black Bombtrack Hook Ext-C gravel bike and a white 3T Exploro Team lightweight road bike.
Police Constable Megan Cleary, of Dorset Police, said: “I am keen to hear from anyone who has witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at the relevant time or who has information about those responsible.
“Also, I would urge anyone who may have seen bikes for sale in unusual circumstances to contact police.”
