Car in Bournemouth damaged by men swinging knives
Dorset Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident at the Woodbury Roundabout or who has dashcam footage.
A man sitting in his stationary car at traffic lights in Bournemouth on Wednesday 20 August was approached by two men wearing balaclavas and carrying knives.
The incident happened at around 11.25pm at the Woodbury Roundabout.
It was reported that the men began swinging their knives at the vehicle, causing damage to it.
The victim was able to drive away and sustained no injuries.
Detective Sergeant Karen Penn, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident, which must have been very frightening for the victim.
“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any information that could assist our investigation, to please come forward if you haven’t done so already.
“I am also keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area on the evening of Wednesday 20 August, as well as anyone who was driving in the vicinity and may have captured relevant dashcam footage.”
