CCTV appeal following theft of car in Poole
Officers investigating the theft of a car in Poole are appealing for the public’s help to identify two suspects from CCTV images.
A BMW 3 Series was stolen from Herbert Road at 12.30pm on Friday 5 May 2017, while the owner was delivering parcels to a nearby property.
Approximately 50 undelivered parcels were still inside the car. Approximately 25 minutes later two men were seen on CCTV at Tesco on Wimborne Road trying to withdraw money from the cashpoint using the victim’s card, which was inside the vehicle when it was stolen.
Police Constable Steve Boston, of Bournemouth police, said, “As part of my investigation, I am now in a position to release CCTV images of the two suspects. I would urge anyone who recognises these men to please contact Dorset Police. “I am also keen to hear from anyone who has seen a black BMW 3 Series, registration C13 KBO, parked up in the area.
“Finally, I would like to remind motorists to ensure they do not leave their vehicles insecure even if they are leaving it for a moment. Please don’t make life easy for thieves.”
