Collision in Bournemouth followed by dangerous driving in Poole
Police are keen to speak to anyone who has dashcam footage or saw a people carrier being driven dangerously.
Not only did a motorist fail to stop following a collision on the A338 Wessex Way, near to the County Gates roundabout in Bournemouth, but the vehicle was subsequently seen driving on Lindsay Road in Poole travelling on the wrong side of the road and causing oncoming vehicles to take evasive action.
At 10.25pm on Monday 25 October Dorset Police received a report of a two-vehicle collision with a brown-coloured people carrier, reportedly failed to stop at the scene.
There were no reports of any injuries.
PC Tracey Downer, of the traffic unit, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed it and has not already spoken to police to please come forward.
“I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have captured the brown-coloured people carrier involved on dashcam footage.”
