Elderly woman injured in hit and run in Bournemouth
Dorset Police are hoping the driver will come forward, as well as anyone who witnessed this incident on Saturday 13 September.
A pedestrian in her 90s was injured when she was in a collision with a vehicle in Grosvenor Road on Saturday 13 September.
Dorset Police received the report at around 1pm, and it is reported that the vehicle left the scene and subsequently left the area.
The woman sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment by the ambulance service.
Police Constable Paul Wilson, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “An investigation is underway, and we are carrying out enquiries to identify the vehicle and driver that left the scene.
“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and saw what happened to please come forward. Also, I am keen to speak to any motorists who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.
“I would urge the driver of the vehicle to please do the right thing and come forward so we can take your account of what happened.”
