Bournemouth Council has 208 candidates in the Local Elections and there are 12 candidates across the two Bournemouth Constituencies for the General Election.
The 208 candidates in the Local Elections, representing a number of parties and also independent candidates, are contesting 54 seats across 18 wards.
There are 54 Conservatives, 50 Labour, 37 Green, 26 Liberal Democrats, 24 UKIP, 8 Bournemouth Independent Alliance, 8 Independents and 1 Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition.
Twelve candidates will contest the two Bournemouth constituencies, Bournemouth East and Bournemouth West, in this year’s General Election. Bournemouth East has a candidate each for Bournemouth Independent Alliance, Conservative, Green, Labour, Liberal Democrats & UKIP. Bournemouth West has a candidate each for Conservative, Green, Labour, Liberal Democrats, Patria & UKIP.
