The Reverend Canon David Price, former rector of Wimborne celebrated the 50th anniversary of his ordination to the Priesthood on Sunday 28 September. He presided over the Parish Eucharist service at St John’s, Broadstone by kind invitation of the vicar, the Rev’d Canon Nigel Lloyd. A small group of parishioners from Wimborne Minster attended along with Canon Price’s former Archdeacon, the Venerable Geoffrey Walton.
Canon Price was rector of Wimborne Minster from 1986 to 2001 when he and his wife Frances retired to Exmouth. They have recently returned to live in the area to be closer to family.
