Fun day at Wimborne Minster will go ahead
There will be a whole host of activities at this fun day which will raise funds for Minster Makes Music Appeal.
Although the final restrictions are not to be lifted until 19 July, people will still be able to enjoy an Adventure Fun Day in Wimborne Minster on 10 July.
In aid of the Minster Makes Music Appeal and to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Royal British Legion, the event will run from 10am-4pm on the Minster Green.
To be opened by the Mayor Mrs Kelly Webb, accompanied by Mel Gudger, deputy Town Crier, there will be a variety of events.
These include the opportunity for young people to enjoy the adventure of a climbing wall on the Green, a teddy bear zip dive from the Minster Tower, charity stalls and various fun activities.
A spokesman said: “If you haven’t a teddy why not bring along kitties, doggies, bunnies or unicorns – all are welcome to take part in the zip dive. We will have some stunt teddies available on the day.”
