Future Shapers conference comes to Bournemouth
As technology continues to play a growing part in business and our daily lives, the UK’s and the county’s bright thinkers are headed to Bournemouth to explore the opportunities that technology, creativity and inspiration can deliver.
The Future Shapers 2026 event, put on by Silicon South, takes place at The Hilton, Bournemouth on Tuesday, 13 October.
The day aims to deliver, “an event that features inspiring keynote speakers, thought leaders, entrepreneurs and industry experts who are on the cusp of innovation and helping shape the future of their industries.”
Alongside national voices, some of the best talent, businesses and future shapers from across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole will take to the stage to share their experiences, insights and ambitions for the region. The event puts together local founders, creatives, technologists, educators, students, business leaders and innovators to share ideas and experiences.
Speakers include futurist Henry Coutinho-Mason, Poole-based company Savvy Navvy’s Jelte Liebrand, AI transformation expert Faith Ruto, and local business innovation consultant, Matt Desmier.
The agenda includes a session by author Henry Coutinho-Mason, making the audience “active participants” as ideas and predictions are gathered from across the room during a discussion about technology, work, careers and the BCP region.
