Halloween activities at Wimborne museum this half term
The Museum of East Dorset in Wimborne has plenty of spooky activities lined up for the half term holidays this month.
If you’re looking for activities to entertain your little ones this upcoming half term, the Museum has plenty to choose from.
Each day during the half term holidays, there will be free autumn crafts and an autumn trail included in the normal entry price.
On Tuesday 25 October, Little Explorers create Monster Mayhem takes place from 10am until 1pm. For £3 per child, payable at the tearoom entrance, there will be monster-themed crafts and storytelling, with a myths and monsters trail around the garden (museum entry not included).
Or why not visit by torchlight after the sun goes down? The museum will be open after its usual hours on Saturday 29 October from 6-7.30pm and you can find out about the witches marks on the wall and why the museum has a mummified cat. Make some creepy crafts, handle some real skulls and bones and join the cook in the museum kitchen to hear some spooky stories.
Booking is essential for this family-friendly event and dressing up is encouraged https://museumofeastdorset.co.uk/project/museum-by-torchlight/
