Harold G Walker Solicitors announces two new Partners
A Dorset law firm Harold G Walker is pleased to announce that Cath Porter and Gaynor Cooke became Partners of the firm from January 2017.
The appointments mark the continuous growth and expansion of the firm’s legal practice.

They celebrated their new appointments and the legal practice’s 70 year anniversary by visiting the Bournemouth Masonic Hall where a portrait of the firm’s late founder, Harold Walker, is displayed. Harold established the law firm in 1946 and carried on to build a successful business empire in the Bournemouth area. Although he led a varied career, Harold Walker will mostly be remembered for his period as chairman of AFC Bournemouth.
Cath Porter, a matrimonial lawyer for many years and who joined the firm in 2013, specialises in all elements of family and matrimonial law. Based at the firms Broadstone office, Cath has developed an outstanding reputation in the local community, her wealth of knowledge and legal expertise has put her in high regard amongst her colleagues and clients.
Gaynor Cooke, who is also based at Harold G Walker’s Broadstone branch, has almost 20 years’ experience in dealing with all aspects of lifetime planning. Since joining the firm Gaynor has made significant contributions to the Wills & Probate team as well as providing day-to-day advice and counsel to clients. Her vast experience and professionalism make her a true asset to the firm.
