Moors Valley Country Park and Forest is appealing anyone who has used the park since it first opened to send them their photographs. They will be used to compile a fascinating social history of the park since it opened 25 years ago, back in 1988.
The Rangers have already uploaded some images to a dedicated Flickr site, showing the development of the site and a selection of events from the early 1990s. These include opening ceremonies with local dignitaries and Ester Rantzen.
