Hit and run in Poole
Fortunately no one was injured but the police would like to locate the white van driver who failed to stop at the scene.
A white van failed to stop when it collided with a moped on Alder Road near to the Alder Hills roundabout at around 4.45pm on Tuesday 22 June.
The rider of the moped – a woman in her 30s from Poole – did not sustain any injuries.
The white van drove off and so didn’t provide any details to the moped rider.
Police Constable Tracey Downer, of the traffic unit, said: “I believe there were a number of motorists in the area at the time of the incident and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed what happened to please get in touch.
“We are carrying out enquiries to try and locate the driver of the white van and I would urge any motorists who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam to please come forward.”
